Black Justice & Policy Advisor

A proud son of Compton, CA, Justin Blakely is co-founder and Policy Advisor for BlackECE. A life-long community activist, he has a keen interest in advancing equity while increasing civic engagement amongst communities of color, especially Black communities, in the effort to achieve systemic change. 

Justin has served on various boards and commissions. In 2021, he was appointed by Supervisor Holly Mitchell to serve as a Los Angeles County Commissioner for the Policy Roundtable for Child Care and Development, which is a commission that develops policy recommendations for the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. Proudly, he now serves as vice chair. An alumni of Cal State Dominguez Hills, he is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
